The Branch Series By Rachel Bertoni

The Branch Series is the latest collection of handcrafted fine jewelry by Rachel Bertoni. It reflects the idea of movement in nature. The jewelry is first created as an original carving in wax. Then the lost wax casting technique is used to transform the wax into various types of metals. Wax carving allows for a greater sculptural aspect with endless possibilities to transform them into wonderful pieces of wearable art forms.

The organic nature of this collection feels comfortable and has a universal appeal. Everyone can enjoy the fluid aspects of Bertoni jewelry Designs. The flow of changing elements creates an endless sense of freedom. Many of the rings have a different element as it moves around the finger creating a continuous circle of lines connecting one to the other, yet allowing each angle to be different in some way.

I believe in life the more we become connected to nature, other people and ourselves the closer we get to our true essence. In some way, the flowing lines in my designs represent the flow of energy we all have and can use to connect to all of life and our surroundings in nature.

Because of the freeform quality of the pieces, they can easily be collected and worn as stackable rings or bracelets. Many of the designs are accented with colored stones including opals, tourmalines, colored diamonds and various other semi-precious and precious stones.

Whether a silver band, a gold bangle bracelet or a pair of rose gold earrings, they all work together to compliment each other. The Branch Series is wearable nature at its finest and hopefully when one wears a piece from the collection it reminds them that we are all connected to all living things in one way or the other.
